SNTR--Sixpence None The Richer, actually they were a Christian band. Unaware of the heroin implications of "there she blows", they said in an interview they covered it because it was just a great song.
  12:36am
P-90:

SNTR = a Christian band??
Avatar 12:40am
Matt from Springfield:

THE Essex, not just any ol' Essex here!
Avatar 12:41am
Matt from Springfield:

@P-90: "Sixpence None the Richer (also known as Sixpence) is an American Christian rock/pop band that formed in New Braunfels, Texas, eventually settling in Nashville, Tennessee. They are best known for their songs "Kiss Me" and "Breathe Your Name" and their covers of "Don't Dream It's Over" and "There She Goes". The name of the band is inspired by a passage from the book Mere Christianity by C. S. Lewis." I heard that before, I guess it's true! I had learned about the C.S. reference years earlier.
