Firstly, I don't see any cows so I don't know why she's running, and secondly she's running in the rain looks like she's about to be struck in the head by lightning. I'm left to infer that's what Kevin was also doing...
Thirdly, I love Family Fodder, what an amazing sound, still totally fresh.

Sem Chumbo:

I am no theologian but it appears to me that the young woman has committed a venal sin in her irrational fear of cows and, as the Divine Smiting Presence is about to run a few million mega-watts through her forehead and teach her a lesson, she will be a candidate shortly for Extreme Unction, one of the three sacraments which constitute the Last Rites.

Irwin, the Partch show at Monctlair St. Univ. was great. Got to try some of the instruments afterward. Only catch, it wasn't free as I thought you'd said. It was $15. Still, special.

Laura sings this great countrypolitan tune with a fantastic melody and hook, and then comes the jazz and you're reminded how itty-bitty country/pop is. Then you listen to orchestral and you realize how itty-bity jazz is...

Irwin- Thanks for the regular playing of JAZZ, a musical genre I had resisted listening to for many years. By the time I had a stereo set JAZZ had devolved into saxophonic bleating that were too hard on my ears. Aurally it was analogous to expressionist art which I enjoyed looking at but preferred not to hear.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:09pm

I hear ya, Jan. When someone says they "love jazz," it usually means they haven't been put to the test.
