As i lay waking up and feeling the repetive motion of a start of A day.....As words start my collective mind, my body seems to follow why so eagerly often the body beat's it's own rythm and pulse as my ghatered thoughts are in what seems to be some sort of pirates strongly suggesting "to walk the plank" to the seemingly sad sea.

Nockerln ... if you catch the right restaurant ... it's an explosion of taste.

@Guido/bibi: as a kid, I lived in Honduras, where there are many Palestinians. I remember a couple of times staying with friends of mine whose families made incredible Palestinian food, including some sort of dessert pasta whose name I can't remember. Nobody else I've ever asked about it knows what I'm talking about!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:47am

@KP: No way! Is that true of other clips in the Circus? Please don't tell me Dirty Mac was all prerecorded as well!

i saw some doc lately, they look to have skills for desserts down in palestine. too fat, too sweat, so with no doubt good.

Only Tull, because of the sub guitar, i guess. The rest is gloriously live as far as i know, Mariano.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:57am
mariano:

@bibi and Guido: yes, I've been a nomad for sure. Quite a few Lebanese in Honduras as well, the food is very similar. One last thing on sweets then back to music, bibi, since you mention it: one of my most vivid memories is of homemade Palestinian baklava right out of the oven, to this day my mouth waters when I think of it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:58am
Ike:

Dessert pasta? You mean like vermicelli payasam?

Hi Ike! Good guess, I need to research. Guido, I'm sure there's not much difference between Turkish and Palestinian baklava: it's one of those things every Mediterranean country claims to have invented!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:06am

Hey hey. Actually, payasam is Indian as far as I know, but I'm wondering if the Palestinian dessert pasta might be similar.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:12am
mariano:

@bibi: Yum! @Ike: as I recall, it was drier, no real sauce, just vermicelli with something almost like a sweet glaze. My friend's grandmother who served it to me patiently explained to me that it was in fact a dessert when I didn't believe her (I was probably 8), and she even had me repeat the Arabic word to her, but I forgot!

Great show last night, by the way, Nick: I was listening but catatonic.
