WBAI was using the Get Carter "train" theme a few years ago during all the terrorism aftermath coverage and things....was pretty funny to hear that music used on WBAI too

@fleep : I'm so sorry to hear that about KPFK. It was always run much better than BAI, though of course subject to constant infighting, "coups" etc. Do they still run their film screenings club for members?

A Constant Forge is well worth watching...for any film nut...checked Get Carter orig. DVD at library earlier...it has commentary also with Caine and peter S. the cinematog. and others...don't recall watching that, but the DVD looked ok...acceptable print if not great.

Gloria is not my fave Cassavetes by any means, it's ok. Watched Mikey and Nicky recently, that was also meh...fun but not great. All the straight up solo Cassavetes indie productions are the ones to see....Faces Shadows Killing of a...etc. Woman Under the INfluence....all essential but difficult cinema
