Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

I steadily receive comments wondering why I haven't followed up on Occupy Wall Street and it makes me feel bad. I guess I have dropped the ball. It isn't because I don't care, it's just that when I followed Occupy around I was unemployed and had nothing but TIME to do those shows. If I were payed to do such shows, I could work hard on them every week, but as it is, I have to pay some bills and I have to work and it's MUCH more difficult to carve out time to do it. It actually bums me out more than you might imagine.

another show ends without me saying "always remember." :>(
Thanks for listening to this episode of The Dusty Show, I hope you enjoyed it. It didn't really come together for me. Fabio was fine, the callers were good, but me ... just flat and forcing it. I really took this show home with me, so to speak, and I have been bothered for a few days with it, and with the show in general lately. Odd that this show had more comments than I've seen in some time. Go figure? I feel bad that I have not had any street interviews or any real editing of late - no stories or digital creations, radio theatre, etc. Maybe I just have to ease up on myself through the holidays and come out the other side swinging? I'll try that. For those of you who remain and haven't given up on The Dusty Show, I really do thank you. Sometimes it is so painful to listen to these shows again. I cringe at about 85% of the stuff I say - I try to hard to be funny or flippant or obtuse, i go into that annoying DJ Speak. I suppose I have lost my way to an extent and I'm not sure which way to go. I have to believe that that might be a good thing. That by pushing on I might eventually break through the wall I feel myself butting against at present. Time will tell. Anyway ... thanks for tuning in and I hope you continue to do so. I do care. Take care of yourselves and enjoy the holiday season. You can find me on Facebook (Clay Pigeon 39, I think), Twitter, and Soundcloud. I just posted a bunch of stuff there last week so check it out iof you are so inclined. Gotta go. So MUCH to do with Christmas coming. Happy Holidays my friends. I wish you much love and happiness. Oh yeah, one more thing. Some people were offended last week when I asked Billy Jam to say lines from the Lucky Charms commercials in hios Irish accent. It didn't strike me as wrong. Annoying maybe. At any rate, I love Billy and wouldn't want to offend him, or you, so sorry about that. Until next time, take care and ... always remember.
