@Tome :)

I found it amazing when I first heard this song: Joe McG played it to begin the July 4th episode, and followed it up with an older doo wop song also titled "Coney Island Baby". That's Lou Reed in general: "where were you when you first heard..."

I really enjoy the self-titled "Lou Reed" from 1972 and the Rock And Roll Heart album more than anyone probably should.

I used to frequent a music forum that was overrun with people asking "What's the song in _______ TV commercial?" The regulars made a pact to always reply "'Sister Ray' by The Velvet Underground."

The one track com radio plays and one strangely self-censoring station that can't possibly be from around here struck the word, 'head'. Do you get

Sorry to hear about Lou reed. But the classic rock station I use to listen to way back in the 80's and 90's use to play "take a walk on the wild side" so many times it would have turned and normal human being into a serial killer
  12:36am
KP:

First thing I thought of when I heard about Lou was Therese talking about the fill in keynote speaker at RadioVision. The speaker was supposed to be Laurie Anderson. I'm still only guessing that she did not show ...

Sorry to hear that, dude, but "Wild Side" is to musical deviants what "The Joker" is to pot-head retards.

I think 'Walk on the Wild Side' is a unique case study in radio com craptacular. It illustrates bundles.

So Therese, my background is telling me to ask you if Laurie Anderson did not make RadioVision and ... if so, did that make you and others realize something was imminent. This is not for publication. I am now what they call in the business a layabout.
