Fred, C'este Chic and Très Chic for 60s style girl pop.

I don't Ken, but I'm sure one will crop up, and I think we do French again

Pussy Cat "Le Plus Fort", a guitar solo to swoon. My 0,02€, YMMV :)

Glockabelle played Ruth, and I forgot Pussycat sorry

Matt from Springfield:

"Bissao" probably relates to Guinea-Bissau, that explains the African-like melodies.

Oh by the way, in case I don't have time to announce it, Eros & the Eschaton should be on next week
Avatar 5:46am
Matt from Springfield:

Actually no, "I Eat Cannibals" was apparently the first. But "I Am A Cannibal" sounds positively conventional in contrast! ;)

Sewers & Morsels, is that a band name ? Only do covers of filthy songs and in very broken French. The singer does a bad Serge impression. A Brigitte bust-alike on bass.

I think it's "Pussy Cat" but I've see it written both ways, and there's also a Dutch band with a same/similar name. Does Glockabelle know for sure which way it's sposta be spelled ?

"vous really got me" ...
Don't blame me, that's actually what Google Translate says! (At this point it can't break that down further!)

Matt I thought that sounded like a Kinks song

I think the lack of diacritical marks on today's playlist is truly tragic.

Won't someone buy WFMU a French keyboard ? Julie you might have "dead keys" but maybe they hafta be configured

Glockabelle:

Pussy cat.
Avatar 5:55am
fred von helsing:

I have a Finnish keyboard with dead keys and I can do just about everything except the cedille (the "c" in "ca" or "facons").
Avatar 🦇 5:55am
Julie:

I will try to fix them later, it's kind of hard to do that when you're adding stuff quickly

Does this help at all with diacritical characters? Haven't looked in-depth but seems it has at least some...
