I assumed that the Terry Riley & Chet Baker stuff was a something like a Christian Marclay piece; not an actual collaboration.

Well, there seems to be an absence of a certain ornithological piece. A headline regarding mass awareness of a certain avian variety.

Hey, Fabio. Do you know of any films on DVD that allow you to mute the dialogue and just watch the film with the music? Seems like this would be a cool extra. I'm not talking about the actual soundtrack to the movie.

when? when the fashion front didn't take off as planned. when marketing stole native and indigienous language; colonialism - 21st century style.

Andrew Waterloo:

There is a theory about the booooo in Surfing Bird indicating that the soldier walking by and waving is a ghost.
Avatar 4:23pm
Green Mountain Man Mark:

jarhead is another interesting name for Marines. And people in the Navy are called Squids. Don't know if that is still the case. And Army folks are sometimes called pickles. And Air Force girls were called Marine mattresses.
Avatar 4:31pm
Green Mountain Man Mark:

Don't know what people in the Coast Guard were/are called. I never ran into any of them. But they must have some nicknames.

I don't really want to hear Clay this evening. Fabio's stuff for me right now is what I need. He can lock Clay in the bathroom that has that Hannah Montana poster in it and give him a bottle of lotion. Then Fabio can keep going if he wants. Or dead air. either one.

Speaking of Reddit and such, haven't we all heard enough stories about business success, internet business success? Maybe that gets audiences?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:23pm
tim from champaign:

What's Reddit? The FMU comments board is about as high tech as I get. I've heard of Reddit but don't know what it is.
Avatar 👻 5:24pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

Reddit is like a small hare, I think. A woodland creature perhaps.
Avatar 5:26pm
Fabio:

Hey Choco Monk: I saw it at the cinema too, wanted to see if it was the small screen that was weakening it. No cigar. It just doesn't hit the marks: poor tension, script doesn't really take you anywhere, it's not even suspenseful (to me). Though it does have its moments, and is funny in regard to its take on Giallo... but I found it lacking.
Avatar 5:28pm
steve:

avoid Reddit tim, its the most addictive internet thing i can imagine. its a massive collection of aggregated message boards on any topic you can imagine, which result in endless stimulation/entertainment/information overload thats alternately informative and brain-rotting.
