	6:28am Revolution Rabbit Nov63: ...I grew up w/ a Husky - thin & tall w/ little black ...they recommend them for kids - they are sweet like that - but w/ idiosyncrasies: had to keep him tethered or he'd bug for the ice tundras of his mind - pick him up @ the pound w/ quills in his face...he was narcoleptic or something & would have seizures...I was young enuff when we got 'im I was afraid of dogs when we got him - by the end loved that bugger so much - !...but he was my Father's - & when the family disintegrated, my Father's girlfriend didn't want him around, & he put him in a pound where the old guy w/ his issues prob. got put to sleep instead of adopted...

	7:47am GaryMIndiana: It's the bedtime cuddle and walks i missed, but the silence compelled me to get another dog months later. And the dog brought home a cat on her own.

A number of years ago some friends of mine in Buffalo told their little girl they had to send their dog "across the Rainbow Bridge" when they had to put him down. Now, at that time I hadn't heard of the whole "sending your pet over the Rainbow Bridge" thing when they passed away... and there IS a bridge in Niagara Falls that goes over the river into Ontario. I blinked confusedly at them and said, "You told her you sent the dog to Canada?"

They just are oblivious to buses, trucks and cars.....No matter how many times I'd tell him. He just saw his park and wanted to be there.....

	8:48am Dave B: My brothers chocolate lab Coco used to dive off the pier at Bolton Beach on Lake George with reckless abandon. It was something like a ten foot plunge.... That dog was cool.
	8:48am GaryMIndiana: I got two cats together and they play every day. The get to live inside all the time, so the price is I carry them around sometimes, or the dog might chase them spoiled puffballs. i'm still basically a dog person.

	8:52am northguineahills: I had a cat that would play fetch and follow me everywhere. Unfortunately he went w/ my ex-roommate at the time b/c the replacement roommate was allergic to cats. I still see Lagerfeld once every other month, the cat loves me but is pissed I abandoned him. (he's 9 now).

Now, at that time I hadn't heard of the whole "sending your pet over the Rainbow Bridge" thing when they passed away... and there IS a bridge in Niagara Falls that goes over the river into Ontario. I blinked confusedly at them and said, "You told her you sent the dog to Canada?"
