How were they?

Incredible! I'm not much of an ELO fan even, but they were so good.

Excellent cover.

The band that played ELO are called Robbers On High Street. The guy in question also plays in the Jay Vons/Reigning Sound with our own DA the DJ.

Ahhh, Nick in person now! Love him!

As a matter of fact, Patrick called Pink Moon his "masterpiece" album, but I always liked Bryter Layter best of all. PM is a stronger concept album, but BL's songs are more emotional and vivid to me. And with those chamber music instrumentals bookending the sides, it is kind of a concept album itself.

...as been said - it's like they're all living together on some little island nation somewhere...I find the Molly a revelation - hope I don't lose points w/ Nick for that...McCartney's dad had a band, it matters - & JohnLennon's grandad on the Lennon side actually toured the U.S. - which I find a pretty intriguing footnote...Nothing against the lovely (& prob. kewl) Gabrielle - it's just - a juxtaposition...Don't think the Hollies get enuff cred. ...
