I guess you'll be playing Can on today's show.

Yeah, that's what I thought when I saw the German writing in the picture. Gefullte Weinblatter!

You'll surely hear a certain can-do attitude.
Avatar 8:50am glenn:

Warm mornings to you, ndbob!

No, Doug. I have a really good attorney.

Hey glenn, how the hell did you know I had a blue sparkle Ludwig set? Really! (with a Slingerland snare)

Speaking of "waves hi," Van, later in the show I shall play an amazing blue-eyed soul track by a Scottish belter called "The Waves Are High Today (and So Am I)"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:05am Doug Schulkind:

OK glenn, but what about the transponder I found in my back molar? Huh? HUH?

Fine...you'd think after nearly 30 years of this, you'd have your shit together. How hard can it be?
  9:14am Paul Sherratt:

Can't stop but will be listening. Mon. Sonnier reminds me that the tv advert for a directory enquiry firm is using Nolan Cormier's deranged ' Hee Haw Breakdown ' to grab the viewers' attention. Works too !

More people need to explore mobile options for GTDR. There's no need to go without.

You all know that there's a fully functional stream on TuneIn, among the other options, yes?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:58am Ike:

Well, Ken rightly pointed out that Flash is on its way out and that maybe an HTML5 player is in the cards for all streams eventually. This kind of in-browser player is necessary for some listeners with evil locked-down office puters.

@MIchael - yep - I use TuneIn all the time to listen to WFMU shows

If not office wifi, tethering your mobile to your network connection is also something to explore.

Love the tune and Get Smart too!
Avatar 12:00pm Shaun:

Yeeah, I listen through the tunein app. Reports itself as 'Duane' and holds up the Disco Sounds LP but sounds great.

@UM Jeff Moore mentioned TuneIn to me when I enquired earlier in the year.

I often have to listen to the first few numbers of Give The Drummer Some using the WFMU app on my droid phone. Doug told me about that app and the molar implant, but my dental insurance would not cover the costs installation of the latter, so I went with the droid app.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:04pm Uncle Michael:

@glenn, he'd still have two left.

Superb set, forgot to check in. Been here since Kenyon Hopkins.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:05pm Alex In Illinois:

I wonder if the old Shlittz Malt Liquor add with Rufus THomas is available on the web anywhere like YouTube.
