I dig Vito Scotti! Man, he was in everything. Wonderful how Hollywood could never decide if he was their default Italian or Mexican, so ended up doing both. Also, notably he played a lot of high-energy crazy artist types. What's that still from?
I thought about shipping some food down or some delicious Vermont beer for the DJs and volunteers. I will be bringing some local brew for the Hoof since I have had a few requests for some. Even though it looks like there won't be much room for the public this year as it is not at Maxwell's but at the station on the new ground floor. I think some listeners are planning a meet up elsewhere. Don't think it is organized yet.
@GMMM: Ken said the H'n'F wouldn't be open to the public because the station doesn't have the required license. I haven't heard much about that meet up, then again I'm an ocean away
@GMMM: BTW, if I ever get time and money at the same time -- don't hold your breath -- I'm definitely going to spend some time in Vermont, this looks like my kind of place
The Hoof is planned to be streamed again probably through Ustream. Wife and I have already made plans to be in the area over the weekend for the Hoof and other things going on that weekend. We made the plans before we knew the Hoof isn't at Maxwell's. But so many listeners might want to have a meet up like at the Barcade or some place. Or even at Maxwell's.
I think I will be bringing down some growlers of the now famed Hill Farmstead beers. They cleaned house recently at a rewards thing for beer. Won like 8 out of the 10 prizes. You can only get the beer at restaurants and pubs that have it or right at the brewery in VT where I get it.
@greg: Something memorable might still happen at Maxwell's. There are enough people feeling the same way to make it happen. Maybe not at Maxwell's, but I'm sure something will happen
