The program formerly known as Dinner at Andy's, The Fuzzy Glove Hour, Whores, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

@Matt: Irwin's playlist cut off early, so had no time to tell you about the white squirrel who, in The Kalevala, helps invent beer. That's pretty good for a mythological squirrel too. Though not necessarily as badass as Ratatoskr.

Caryn:

@Droll & Matt: Check out the story "A Beer Lay" (book 20, lines 137-416) of The Kalevala. A virgin serving maid creates a white squirrel, a bird and a bee and instructs them to gather things for her to put in barley beer, with the result that the beer ferments and becomes frothy. Thus, modern beer is born.

Mel Brooks may well have a blank check for Jews. But that takes a LONG time and a LOT of critical and popular esteem to reach that point.

I think that's the difference between the Norwegians and Finns. Their squirrels are all "hey, I'll represent the circle of destruction and rebirth, and tell snarky rumours to eagles and dragons", and the Finnish squirrel is all "hey, let's make a new alcoholic drink!" Our national priorities are different.
