If people are doublestreaming and microdelaying, this must really be something now that they added a studio layer of it
Avatar 3:04pm

Still am and yes, something else.

Honey Water:

Triplestreaming, btw, but I think I'll stop that soon.

whoa, didn't even realize we crossed the border into Minotaur territory. I thought The Long Goodbye was an excellent film. Elliot Gould doesn't get enough credit, I think.
Avatar 3:07pm
Honey Water:

@Mike: Funny you should say that! Yes, I really, really like the Long Goodbye despite Gould, whom I've never cared for as an actor. But the film worked very well and he was superb in it.

Honey Water, I like the gills as hair.

I think Altman can probably take a lot of credit for that, too.

"Morris is the originator of Conduction (a term knowingly borrowed from physics): a type of structured free improvisation where Morris directs and conducts an improvising ensemble with a series of hand and baton gestures."

Hi, Kurt!! Sorry for the rudeness.
Avatar 3:16pm
northguineahills:

I was just reading last week in the October or September issue of the Wire that there some sort of kickstarter sort of thing to help get funds for Butch and a site to raise awareness for his need for a transplant. It was probably written last summer. A few days later, wham! he's gone :(
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:17pm
Parq:

HW, I never saw that. That's the one that has a cast including a woman who played a key role in the Howard Hughes hoax -- Nina Pallant or something like that. (I should IMBD it, but I'm feeling ornery.)

It was lung cancer, he was mid 60s, most likely grew up smoking in the 1950s... Maybe someone knows more...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm

@HW - I watched both within a week of each other...as well as Popeye. Long Goodbye takes first place, though I loved all three.
Avatar 3:19pm

OK, Parq, I just did the fingerwalking for you (as I did for Kurt last week ;): Nina Van Pallandt, indeed.

@ngh: I might have had the record length of time -- represented in bleeps and bloops on their end, replaced by a sort of "music" blipping mid-2012 -- on ATT automated systems after entering our phone number and they say "OK, I'll just look that up." It's a badge of honor since all the pages of records have to do with all my calls about billing errors, etc. ;)
