With authenticated postings it would now be easy for Kenzo (or whoever's doing this) to implement the ability to delete or edit one's own comments. Correct one's own typos. Without having to bother the DJ.

So there's an up side to it all.

All right, so I can pretend to be someone else (hi, G) but the linked name still goes to my profile. So, a modicum of accountability.

re "Thick As A Brick": And I first heard that CD, oops I mean album, when I lived on that street. In fact, there was a very British-ethos Catholic boys school up the street where my younger brothers somewhat unhappily went. (I was old enough to be trusted to commute by train daily to the American School in London.)

But mainly in 72-74 I was buying small-run 45s that were on the American charts and barely released in the UK. The record store thought I was a preciously young DJ, but I was just keeping up with music by special ordering stuff off of the US charts that was not on the UK charts or radio at all...

Right, "acknowledgement/acknowledgment" is another one of those.

There are "organised" "realisations" and other such S's instead of Z's in British/Commonwealth spelling, yet they still tend to put a Z in Elizabeth and Brazil.

Elisabeth and Brasil is a further preference, indicating a Continental Europe/outside Anglosphere perspective.

@MfS: America broke on BBC radio (prior to US success) a few months after I moved there. All of us at ASL knew of them. They were actually military brats and had gone to a different US-curriculum school. But yeah we had plenty of fairly well-known actors'/actresses' kids at ASL. Wow, the day Linda Blair visited the school was a big day for the drama kids at ASL... And meanwhile, we should all think about all the data that both companies and government entities are gathering about you now in the electronic era. That'll be the next great civil rights issue, once people realize how it really works and where it's going. There is nothing beneficent about the govt centrally gathering data to "help us".
