Familiar & forgotten gems from 50-plus years of music on the darker side, shoegaze, synthpop, goth, psychedelia, darkwave, with unapologetic detours into 70s pop. In a dark night of the soul, it's always 3 o'clock in the morning.

I wish I could stay up late and do the things I love (PlayStation) or the silly OCD things I need to do (tag every song I own with correct ID3 tags)... but I'm close to getting fired for turning up to work late.

Elwyn:

The first Only Ones song I ever heard was Yo La Tengo's cover of "The Whole of the Law". Love that song so much. Wish I was going overseas and could serenade someone with that before I went.

What time is it where you are, Elwyn? You're in Oz, yes? so like...6 or 7 pm thursday?

@Julie, it's 7:13 pm in Sydney. I got in at 11:20 am today (meant to get in by 10 am) so I can go home in 7 minutes.

Listening to WFMU and pledging has been the high light of the day. Playing with a new set of sweat-proof Bluetooth headphones was the only other interesting thing to happen today.
