The program formerly known as Dinner at Andy's, The Fuzzy Glove Hour, Whores, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

Listener comments!

Matt from Springfield:

Whoooooa, encored after a long absence, sitting on a dusty DAT tape! This is one of the oldest 7SDs!
  6:01pm
hamburger:

encore??? #copout :o)
  6:02pm
G:

Andy spilled beer on the console and has been suspended for six months.
  6:03pm
Matt from Springfield:

I just started the 1st Grade; so thrilled to be in Miss Foster's class!
  6:03pm
Danne D:

Love the board. Can't believe I got through :)

I hope that Ken will find the episode with 20 Questions and re-air it sometime :)

Is this the "real" Miss New Jersey or Sondra Fortunato?
  6:03pm
Matt from Springfield:

I'd be more concerned with the marijuana in Ken's system. Which of course, is what will really do you in...
  6:04pm
Danne D:

Wonder if Andy is at Chick-Fil-A trolling people on both sides of the issue.
  6:04pm
G:

Won't discuss anal sex in front of his kids? Pussy!:-)
  6:04pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Danne: That's at the top of my 7SD "want" list of rare old episodes, and the Valentine's Day episode where Julie is married to Irwin! :)
  6:06pm
Matt from Springfield:

Unlimited guest opportunities! So new, no one's heard of Ken and Andy yet, no one has them on their blacklist yet!
  6:06pm
G:

If it's NJ, wouldn't they have a stripping segment instead of a bathing suit segment?
  6:06pm
Danne D:

wow the REAL Miss New Jersey? Is this the first celebrity "get" that Seven Second Delay ever had?
  6:07pm
Danne D:

LOL Matt I'm selfish b/c that episode was probably one of my first calls to SSD
  6:07pm
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Kudos to Chick-Fil-A for causing millions of homophobic men to crave hot, juicy cock in their mouths!
  6:08pm
Caryn:

@Danne: well, we'll see if she gets on the air. Her handlers might have decided to cancel after listening to the start of the show.
  6:08pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Danne: Precisely! An early example of you on the Air, AND a rare successful 7SD contest!
  6:09pm
Listener Dave from Seattle:

I'm in that sad group that has listened to all the episodes available online.
  6:10pm
Jackson:

What happened to the first international busker show? Not enough there to make an hour from?
  6:10pm
Matt from Springfield:

@BGZ: Hot juicy cock, in between BUNS, in their mouth! :D
  6:10pm
Caryn:

@BGZ: hah!
Also enjoyed Colbert mentioning how the KFC Double-down chicken sandwich is clearly lesbian porn. After all, it is two breasts rubbing against each other.
  6:11pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Seattle Dave: Including RealAudio only episodes? Ouch, dude...
  6:11pm
Listener Dave from Seattle:

I wonder what would happen if you called into that number?
  6:12pm
Nerd Alert:

This episode is from 1997. Miss NJ was born in 1976.
  6:12pm
Matt from Springfield:

Two breasts, and a HAM in between them! Wonder what they call *that* on the street? :)
  6:12pm
Danne D:

@Jackson - good point - this probably was supposed to be the busker show, right?
  6:13pm
cij:

yeah, donde esta el buskerinos?
  6:13pm
Caryn:

@Matt: two juicy, greased-up breasts...
  6:14pm
Matt from Springfield:

(201) 678-7743
The original old number?! I'm glad we've finally heard an episode reminding us of the "old" number.
  6:14pm
Jackson:

DD, They told the thousands of people there it would be a couple weeks.
  6:14pm
Caryn:

Did Andy lose the busker challenge and get so peeved that he doesn't want it aired?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:15pm
Irwin:

Nerd: Actually it was '96.

www.missnewjersey.net...
  6:15pm
Mihow:

What's up with the audio quality today
  6:15pm
Ken:

The busker show was just too much for me to edit in time. We have like 4 hours of footage and I got interrupted last night by 90.1fm going off the air.
  6:15pm
Ken:

The audio quality is because this was taped in 1996.
  6:16pm
Danne D:

Actually Miss New Jersey 1996: http://www2.okstate.edu/pio/missnj.html
  6:16pm
Mihow:

Oh it's a rerun
  6:16pm
Danne D:

@Ken that's awesome - looking forward to buskerpalooza
  6:16pm
Matt from Springfield:

I'm glad our numbers now end with 9368 (WFMU). What was the old number?
(201) OPT-SPIF? OPT-PRID?...
  6:17pm
cij:

@Ken looking forward as well. take your time to work your editing magic!
  6:17pm
Listener Dave from Seattle:

Time machines are low fidelity
  6:18pm
Caryn:

I'm just glad my stream is finally working again after hours of iffiness. Audio quality, schmaudio quality...
@Matt: The old numbers make WFMU. You just have to run the phone number through the Enigma machine first.

Ken's baked for us listeners a wonderful opus pie!

@Caryn: Wed Aug 1 2012, rotors IV, II, III, initial settings 22, 17, 19...
  6:20pm
Danne D:

I miss hearing Mick from Lodi :(
  6:21pm
Caryn:

Ooh, Matt, way to go Enigma on us!
  6:21pm
Matt from Springfield:

Mick from Lodi was a regular caller?
  6:22pm
Mihow:

Thanks Ken. The extensiveness of your archive is amazing. I'd love to do a linguistics study using the Ken and Andy dataset.
  6:23pm
Whit:

I knew this Miss NJ when she was a student at the Vet School in Oklahoma (See Danne D's link above). On this broadcast you'll hear many comments showing prejudice that she must be dumb and concerned only with appearance. In truth, she was one of the best students I knew there. She was extremely bright and mature beyond her years. And, well, really pretty, too.
  6:24pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Caryn: It helps that I actually got to play with one at the National Cryptologic Museum outside of Fort Meade, Maryland :) It ranks in my Top 5 of museums: not only do they let you play with a real Enigma machine, it's free! :D

Danne D:

@Matt called Chris T all the time
  6:25pm
Awwww:

Two people I miss the most. Mick of course and the forceful Ken on air Freedman.
  6:25pm
Jackson:

Trivia question? How many people on tonight's show are now dead?
  6:25pm
Caryn:

This Enigma talk just reminds me of the June celebrations for Alan Turing. Woohoo, Alan!
@Matt: ooh, cool. I'll have to remember that if I ever visit Maryland.
  6:25pm
Danne D:

@Whit pics or it didn't happen! (j/k) :)
  6:27pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Jackson: Does "dead inside" count? How about "lost the will to live"? :)
  6:28pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Caryn: Besides Bletchley Park, it's one of the few public crypto museums out there, a must visit for any fans of math, science and history (like you!)
  6:29pm
the glowing one:

what I'm wondering about all the time, did she listen in to the show just before the interview?
  6:29pm
Matt from Springfield:

Echoing girls are the only ones who call this show..!
  6:29pm
Danne D:

Bob Packwood - there's a 1996 reference
  6:30pm
Caryn:

While we're waiting for Miss NJ to show up, inspired by the Enigma machine, a military-themed trivia question: which US musician is supposed to have been the first American to find out the news that Stalin had died?
  6:30pm
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

@Matt: That may be the single greatest comment ever!
  6:30pm
Caryn:

@Matt: would love to visit Bletchley Park too...
  6:31pm
Oscar:

Was the echoing girl Kelly Jones?
  6:33pm
Marmalade Kitty:

Miss Jersey and Alan Turning would have had a lot in common
  6:33pm
Matt from Springfield:

@BGZ: I wouldn't say that, just very timely I suppose :)
  6:33pm
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Is this the first time Andy spoke to a woman he wasn't related to?
  6:34pm
The moment of truth:

It's her! I'm tingling.
  6:34pm

Miss Nebraska 1996 (2nd from right in front row):

  6:34pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Caryn: Trying to think what musicians might have been in military intelligence at that time...I don't know?
  6:35pm
Caryn:

@MK: both atheists? Both love Snow White? Both chemically castrated?
  6:36pm
northguineahills:

Interesting that Ken is the voice of reason.
  6:36pm
Caryn:

@Matt (and others): hint - country musician
  6:37pm
Danne D:

Btw, she got ripped off and didn't win :(
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miss_America_1997
  6:41pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Caryn: Johnny Cash?
  6:41pm
Ken:

We had Miss Brooklyn on a year ago, and she won for Miss New York State, and is going to the next Miss America pageant I think. Her name is Mallory Hagan
  6:42pm
Danne D:

wow this is before Donald Trump bought Miss USA I guess
  6:44pm
Caryn:

@Matt: correct! Cash was a radio operator with a U.S. Air Force Security Service unit, assigned as a Morse Code Intercept Operator for Soviet Army transmissions at Landsberg, Germany. He intercepted and transcribed the Soviet coded transmission announcing Stalin's death.
  6:44pm
Wow:

Such a high "will to live quotient" tonight! Forty three minutes and no sighs.
  6:44pm
Danne D:

@Ken So Seven Second Delay has a rich pageant history :)
  6:45pm
Danne D:

Seasons was the old Playboy Club
  6:45pm
Marmalade Kitty:

trial of the vanity queen :P
  6:46pm
Danne D:

I think she handled herself very well in this interview and comes across well btw.
  6:47pm
Caryn:

Just the other day watched the Miss Nude Australia pageant. Slightly different points system there.
Springsteen just performed here. Over 6 hours, with around 5 hours of pure music. People definitely got their money's worth!
  6:47pm
hamburger:

ha, that seinfeld episode where kramer tells the miss america contestant 'POISE! POISE! IT'S ALL ABOUT THE POISE'
  6:49pm
Matt from Springfield:

Fun to know, Caryn!

I remember Pepsi Points, this is definitely mid 90s.
  6:50pm
hamburger:

sorry misquote:

KAREN: Kramer, are these questions really that important...?

KRAMER: Yes, they're important! If you stumble, if you hesitate, you can kiss the crown goodbye. Now if I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times - poise counts! It's just as important as the others. Swimsuit! Evening wear! Talent! POISE!
  6:51pm
Caryn:

@Matt: I was kinda saving that for when 7SD has another music trivia quiz, but hell, most people will forget it by then.
  6:52pm
Danne D:

from the internet archive:
http://web.archive.org/web/19970706141018/http://www.missamerica.org/1996/contestants.html
  6:55pm
Caryn:

So she was apparently Kickline Dancer of the Year. I don't know what to say about that...
  6:55pm
Matt from Springfield:

That's a nice project, starting bereavement groups. Kudos to Miss NJ.

@Caryn: On my honor not to answer, if I see that on a comment board! (Unless I too have forgotten...) :)
  6:57pm
Danne D:

Oh My God. That might've been Demolition Derby Night :)
  6:57pm
Danne D:

Demolition Derby Night at the Sussex County Fair is top notch
  6:58pm
Caryn:

Based purely on the highly 90's photos on that site, the Miss America winner had nothing on Miss NJ. I'm calling the pageant a fix!
  6:58pm
trssh:

Hey, I notice that in the USA, pageantry is a stepping stone to politics and media for women. And acting to politics for men.

What the hell?
  6:58pm
Caryn:

@Matt: I believe you. Of course, with my sieve-like head, I may forget it myself by then.
  6:59pm
Danne D:

Agreed Caryn :)

Have a good night everyone :)
  6:59pm
trssh:

There's a polisci course somewhere that covers this topic, isn't there?
  7:00pm
Marmalade Kitty:

@;Caryn, absolutely..!
  7:00pm
Matt from Springfield:

That was a fun Blast from the Past!
Have a good night!
  7:01pm
the glowing one:

bath salts?!?!? what's next, Ken?
  7:02pm
trssh:

POLSCI351 - Power pageantry
  7:02pm
Caryn:

So I guess Ken found a connection to hook him up with the bath salts he needs?
  7:03pm
Caryn:

@trssh: still better than the Italian stepping stone to politics - pornography.
