Finger Poppin' is a song that Steve Howe (the subsequent prog rock guitarist) covered with his first r&b group about 1964/5, complete with two great, concise guitar breaks. It was later included on his "Mothballs" compilation in the 90s.
Once met a lad who was afraid to go to the restaurant "Sign of the Beefeater" because he heard it as "Sign of the Bee Feeder". Didn't want to get stung, you see.

The In Crowd, never commercially successful. They evolved, with some personnel changes, into Tomorrow, which was a psychedelic band, popular on a cult basis with people like John Peel and Frank Zappa, but not commercially successful. Before the In Crowd, he was in the "Syndicats" in his teens, releasing r&b numbers like Berry's "Maybelline". Of course, he did OK commercially after 1970.
