How high is the WFMU World Domination Control Center above the river ? How much ocean rise can WFMU survive ? Hmm, it looks like 43 Montgomery Street is a hop and a skip from the river and it looks like the street is close to water level, so... ya might hafta put FMU on stilts or on a crazy Waterworld raft made outa truck inner tubes.

what does "Brava" means ?
Avatar 🦇 4:05am

it is the female version of bravo.
  4:06am
fred von helsing:

the speaker is female or the person spoken to is female ? one must be precise..
  4:07am
pierre:

i didn't know there was such a thing as a female Bravo. Shame on me.
Avatar 🦇 4:08am

person spoken to is female. It must be Italian, the male ends in O, female in A. (spanish the same I think too)

It's mainly instrumental, you know pure irish/scottisch tunes, but from time to time you'd have a few song in gaelic, of in old english sung very high piched with choirs. One album i do recommend : "Old hag you've killed me"

Avatar 🦇 4:45am
Julie:

Well you can't beat Nights in White Satin. His voice is still perfection. I talked about it before, there was stuff I didn't know. I need to hit other albums besides my core two! I was surprised they did all their 80s hits.
  4:47am
Matt from Springfield:

"Dominoes" always so hypnotic...

Yeah, I never heard most of their 80s material. So it was an education for me, but they did their core 60s hits, aside from "Legend of a Mind" which is the one thing I wanted them to play but they didn't. Still, it was fun to see the original "white hairs" while they're still around!

  5:56am
Matt from Springfield:

That's funny, Scott had his daughter on earlier that day, and commenters were talking about playing punk music to kids. "Beat on the Brat" came up! "Psycho Therapy" of course would be fitting for this show!

The Moody Blues quite often play Legend of a Mind live – which, after the death of Timothy Leary they would play a variant of it with lyrics changed to “Timothy Leary lives”.
