Not sure how often he's taught in school, but he has several gateways: pop culture, those classic Vincent Price movies, comic book renditions of his work, even other classic American horror writers like H.P. Lovecraft, for whom EAP was an early influence.

Yes to GAP. He is hardly laugh a minute. Cannot get an angle on him. The library book has illustrations by W Heath Robinson years before his fascinating construction phase that continued to the end of his life. Mainly with fey damsels after Aubrey Beardsley.

The house next door really is a squirrel hell. There's a hole in the eaves into which, it seems, the entire neighborhood's worth of rodentry scrambles. I have a cat with a ridiculously bushy tail. I'm absurdly bushy. He looks out the window at the squirrels ponderously. (He thinks we moved here for him.)

I sometimes use my Roku box to stream wfmu on the tunein channel. But GTDR is not on it. But the UBU and Ichiban streams are on there.

Tunein is a web based thing that you can stream radio stations from all over the world. And wfmu is on it too with the regular stream plus some of the others. It is really of no use to wfmu listeners since you can stream it from the wfmu website. Unless you want to use your entertainment system and go through the web using a roku box or other streaming device. I can email the details. Tom Sharpling even has his archived shows on tunein. so maybe it is something that a dj could add if they want.
