I knew w/o looking that this was garbled Japanese.
  3:25pm
Cheri Pi:

WOW Fab-you made your quota!!!
  3:25pm
BSI:

@glenn: this explains everything!
  3:26pm
BSI:

By the way: "googling blode" is likely illegal in most of these united states.
  3:28pm
glenn:

  3:32pm
Pantagruel:

  3:34pm
glenn:

automating good.
  3:34pm
BSI:

I seriously need to get hip with J-C Eloy. Every time I hear his stuff it sends me tumbling into a very familiar abyss.
  3:35pm
Ike:

That J.-C. Eloy made me think my earbuds were malfunctioning. In a good way.
  3:36pm
glenn:

german for journey yes indeed. five points for fabio.
  3:40pm
glenn:

hey, can i say fuck homeland security without getting in trouble?
  3:41pm
Looms:

Follow your instinct, Fabio; your first pronunciation of Hors Territoires was perfect.
  3:42pm
glenn:

way to be prescient, bsi.
  3:42pm
BSI:

oh sweet vindication, my mind..... oh the utter blodeness of it all...

Juno and the Paycock -- Sean O'Casey
"...an' the wins blowin' fierce an' the waves lashin' and lashin' till you'd think every minute was goin' to be your last, an' it blowed and blowed - blew is the right word, Joxer, but blowed is the word the sailors use.... "
  3:58pm
Ike:

Re: 3:42: Does this mean Blue Sausage Infant is a soothsayer?! Tell me my fortune! Will I be eating fine dark chocolate tomorrow at 2:37? Will the Newark Light Rail still be shut down for Batman movie filming? Is the creepy exterminator going to come back and rob me?
  3:58pm
Van in Dallas:

Unable to listen where I'm at but wanted to say hi :)
  4:01pm
glenn:

wow. sean o'casey. still b/p. rawks.
  4:05pm
BSI:

Ike: one of those is a definite yes. I think. Maybe. it's all still quite blode inside the ears and wig. Everything smells like Milk of Amnesia. What?
  4:08pm
Peter Cook:

'There will be a mighty wind, If the word of God is anything to go by'.
  4:09pm
fred:

It's a rare thing to hear so much from the same project on the station, but I'm not complaining. I like glands of external secretion. A lot
  4:11pm
Brian in UK:

Hey fishmonkeystew do you have a library at WHUS or is it all your own records?
  4:14pm
Brian in UK:

Is everyone playing The Flying Lizards these days? ref WHUS.
  4:32pm
Looms:

Wonderful track by Riley; reminded me a bit of his Persian Surgery Dervishes (at least the organ background)
  4:33pm
Mike East:

I've got a dial on my home radios
  4:33pm
BZ:

My dial is fat... and the only one I use!
  4:34pm
Carmichael:

Listening on the web, Fabio. The wirey FM antenna thumb-tacked to my wall won't pick up New Jersey.
  4:34pm
Adam in Portland:

Fabio, sometimes I have to turn my phone up to 360 degrees to get an optimal signal strength.
  4:35pm
Jack:

Don't mock me because I insist on tuning in to your show on my Telefunken Hi-Fi Center. !
  4:36pm
Ike:

Like M.E., I use a tuner w/a dial at home (an old dusty one -- digital, but w/a dial) set to 91.1 most of the time. Listening on the web at work though.
  4:37pm
Carmichael:

Hey Fabio, got any Queensryche? (Preparing for Clay).
  5:05pm
Cecile:

You are doing fine, just relax.
  5:06pm
Hawksaw Jenkins:

I always have a hard time pronouncing Bruce Cockburn's name
  5:08pm
Richard from Venezuela:

Greetings Fabio and all the listeners.
  5:15pm
Mike East:

Greetings Richard and all the Venezuelans!
  5:18pm
Carmichael:

Really dug the vibe of Tonton Macoute back there, btw. And great name for a band.
  5:24pm
Looms:

Aaah, The Radio by Steve Roden :) Most beautiful piece.
  5:40pm
dale:

jack - telefunken hi-fi center? my telefunken bajazzo shortwave is jealous
  5:44pm
Carmichael:

My U37 microphone is green with envy.
  5:45pm
other david:

Oh for a WFMU shortwave transmitter :)
  5:46pm
Julie:

digging the vibe of failure
  5:47pm
dale:

i hardly ever listen anymore, we're in a crappy sunspot cycle anyway
  5:48pm
Carmichael:

We could put Bryce in charge of the shortwave system. Seems like the job for him.
  5:49pm
http://spaceweather.com/:

huge sunspot, heads up for interference
  5:50pm
other david:

@dale: I listen for the more um, ephemeral, noises on SW - alas 90% of the broadcasters seem to be religious nuts. some good pirates pop up once in a while though.

sunspots kicking in means hearing truckers from the US & Russian taxi's all on one frequency here in Ireland, which is.. interesting
  5:53pm
dale:

i used to listen to a vermont group of ham radio operators every morning from 6 - 7 am. don't know why, but it was interesting.

you get cb frequencies skipping that far? impressive!
  5:54pm
Matt from Springfield:

Clay's pot levels are consistently high, off the meter!
  5:54pm
Cecile:

Remember the Kaiser Broadcasting Network?
The Lou Gordon talk show, Bill Kennedy at the Movies?
  5:54pm
Matt from Springfield:

Really dug that tropical "Quiet Village"!
  5:55pm
dale:

i think clay's pot levels have always been heavy.
  5:55pm
Brass Knuckles:

Anyone else think Clay looks a little like Smokey from the Big Lebowski?
  5:56pm
dale:

kaiser had some nice cars designed by dutch darrin. always look for the 'darrin dip' in the beltline.
  5:56pm
Cecile:

he plays Harry Pussy and Bill Orcutt and Pauline Oliveros, all Yanks, Clay.
  5:56pm
Smokey:

Mark it '8', Dude.
  5:57pm
Matt from Springfield:

Kraka Scratoatum! :)
  5:57pm
dale:

looking at the spaceweather site - how nice to see the borealis from your bedroom window!
  5:58pm
Parq:

I'm kind of immersed in work so I may have heard wrong -- did Clay just tell Julie to show a little chest hair?
  6:00pm
dale:

so fabio looks like a toothsome dennis weaver with a lot of chest hair?
  6:00pm
other david:

@dale, yeah it's been a regular occurance in the last month or so, 27-32Mhz has been nuts

The triumvirate always brightens my day, supoib stuff :)
  6:02pm
dale:

you use a long wire other david?
