One day, you should do an all-Sally-Struthers opening name montage.
  11:06am
JJ Moth:

Morning Michael, i look forward to your many versions of Putty in your hands each week. Keep em coming.
  11:08am
Robert:

"One week"? I guess it doesn't count until your show rolls aroung again, huh?
  11:21am
Robert:

I'm sure they appreciate the correction.
  11:30am
Jim Teacher:

'Incredibly Bad' = incredibly awesome
  11:42am
drr:

That was very "meta."
  11:43am
JJ Moth:

All interviews should end with a phone slamming down.
  11:49am
(not that) scott williams:

My son - 5 years old in 2 weeks - said the Left Banke "sounded like someone trying to imitate the Beatles".

Send the Finn to the sharks .

Mike Doughty:

Michael! DUDE! So stoked you played my cover of "Looks." Somebody left a vinyl copy of "Marty Thau's 2x5" (which had the Student Teachers' original version) anonymously onstage for me last month. PS: it's DOE-tee, but that's because my ancestors in Louisiana pronounce the Irish name DOW-tee incorrectly. No idea why. So I don't stress the pronunciation.

Again, man, thanks!

Dale from North Dakota:

Hey Michael, came over to see the artwork, and wow! Labour of Lust is finally being reissued! That's fantastic news, thanks for the link. Great show today, as well!

Have you seen that YouTube video of Percy Mayfield making white russians at a house party while singing Hit The Road Jack?

Absolutely loved that version of "Baby Just Cares", one of my favorite songs, with some great guitar work subbing for the usual piano. Interesting that he opted not to re-gender the celeb references.
  11:15am
peter:

Michael, is "Lazy Susan" an imitation of the Everlies, or an off-label excursion?
