Rather than shouting down those in office who speak honestly about the challenges we face, the president and his advisors should lead. Until they do, they are not focusing on jobs, and they are not listening to the American people who put them in power.” Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-Ohio) If the right to collective bargaining is taken away, the UW System will see more and more of its highly qualified employees leave to teach or work at other universities that can offer them more desirable compensation packages. Our faculty and staff are already underpaid when compared to other university systems, and this bill will lessen the incentive to come to our state even further. the UW –Madison Teaching Assistants Association “Teach Out” Both can't be true, can they? | |
