Not home, regrettably, but working. Like La Dolce Wendy, always found Fabio's show great brainy music. Bryce's too, as far as that goes. Looking foward to the office Xmas party tonight, one of the most opulent and glamorous in the city, not.

  4:39pm

  4:43pm
Bas, NL:

Soddy melting snow outside, so way good to stay in tonight! How about things on your end? -Ohh, by the way, did you see Ken trying to take off yesterday?
  4:47pm
Wendy del Formaggio:

We don't have snow here... just a lot of cold all of a sudden. Boo hiss! I wish it would snow. I didn't see Ken yesterday because I was running around Manhattan visiting cheese shops. I saw some pictures, though. Wow! Scary! it's good he stayed on the ground.
  4:50pm
Jex:

that last song sounded like it could have been the new Neil Young..
  4:52pm
Wendy del Formaggio:

A weather-appropriate song, Fabio. Plus, one of my favorite Stones songs. It reminds me of Vermont, for more reasons than the obvious.
  4:52pm
rica:

I love Fabio.
  4:53pm

No snow, but at least Manhattan is well covered in cheese then! So good to hear you are keeping well busy..;)

I think it's really cool that those extraterrestrials enjoy making remixes . . .

Cecile:

I think BIlly Jam needs to invite some extra terrestrial remixers to his show.
  5:48pm
Cecile:

Have a great evening, everyone!
  5:48pm
Listener John:

Do you suppose Sun Ra had something to do with these remixes? I believe he entered a higher plane -- perhaps on another planet -- not so many years ago . . .
  5:50pm
gdkgnv:

Duke of Earl Grey:

Shouldn't be any problem on WTC PATH line. There were problems out of 33rd, but now they say that's down to 10 min. delay.

listener james from westwood:

"If you are dealing with a religious sonofabitch, GET IT IN WRITING. His word isn't worth shit, not with the Good Lord telling him how to fuck you on the deal." --Wm. S. Burroughs
  6:14pm
jon in seattle:

What the hell is going on? A fundraiser? Is this what it's going to be for now on, no new cool music . . . just people talking crap? Boy, I hope it's a fundraiser, because this is really, really boring.
  6:17pm
listener james from westwood:

Yes, it's a fundraiser. Go here to pledge: http://wfmu.org/mara
  6:18pm
Robert:

I can't tell if jon's just making a joke or asking a sincere question, because we could explain how this came about if he really wants.
  6:20pm

shit was dope earlier
  6:22pm
Robert:

My friend Will told of a dream an atheist friend of his had wherein Odin's white hair grew back as soon as any of it was cut.
  6:25pm
Ike:

There are talk shows virtually every weeknight at 6 p.m. ET here. That's how it's been ever since I can remember. The guy from Seattle must be new here?
  6:25pm
Amanda:

I tuned in at 4 am a couple months ago Clay was on, for some reason, listing the states that start with "A." "I don't think there are any that start with 'B,'" he said. It was pretty much the greatest.
  6:27pm
MG:

In & love NYC, but I must say: wonderful, great beer in Seattle.
  6:29pm
?:

Trower was an early member.
  6:34pm
Robert:

What might've thrown off jon from Seattle is the seamless transition between Fabio's and Dusty's shows. The Dusty Show for a long time was highly produced pre-recorded stuff, but then Clay Pigeon started doing more of it live and off the cuff. And then when Strenght Through Failure became his lead-in by juxtaposition in the schedule, Fabio started bantering with Clay to segue. This banter, which would be called "foreplay" if it were "7 Second Delay" (Wed. nights, same time slot), got longer and longer until it subsumed the entire Dusty Show.

And by now you've also heard Clay Pigeon's explanation of the present circumstance specific to tonight's installment.
  6:38pm
Robert:

Anybody want to correct or amplify on my explanation?
  6:38pm
Jenn:

Give the number again, please. I need to write it down.
  6:47pm
You're high!:

Don't wish for chupacabras!
  6:51pm
Ian James:

Do you know which eastern religion that comes from? I know there's that Robert A. Heinlein Stranger in a Strange Land quote "Thou art God"
  8:12pm
Pigeon:

Sorry for being absent from the studio. Thanks to the listeners for your patience. Thanks, also. to Fabio and Julie for "being there."
