Parq:
I've been here since the intro, Mr. Rex, it's just that I've been having too much fun with the old noise to think of something clever to say.

Just discovered your show this very afternoon and emailed a friend about it. I described your DJ style as a cross between John Waters and Wolfman Jack. Is that okay? It was the first comparison that came to me. Cheers mate.

I'm here glued to the hot rockin' sounds and drinkin' coffee. It'll do when you're not anywhere near the Mug 'n' Bun.
Hi, I'm Les Thompson, and here's the big Number One on the Boooooooooosssss Thirty!

Rex: Gabrial the local legendary dj producer and recording artist's home burned down in East St.Louis.Here is the email Gabrial sent me verbatim.
While I was at the radio station last night, my building apparently caught fire. I discovered this when I arrived home, approx. 4:00 this morning. It was an incredibly serious fire, and I believe it was an electrical fire. The cause (lightning? short circuit?) hasn't been determined yet.
I cannot live in the building; it is totally destroyed. As Buckwheat Zydeco sings, "It Be That Way Sometime".
I have salvaged what I could (quickly) of my records, etc.
You may continue to contact me at the same email address, as I'm living temporarily with friends, and have access to the internet.
I'll try to be like the Phoenix and rise from the ashes (literally).
