Am I #1?
  3:05pm
ginger tim:

no
  3:07pm
Laura L:

Irwin would be #1, if he were a number, but he is not a number, he is a man.
  3:07pm
PMD:

awwww...
  3:09pm
Irwin:

a short man
  3:09pm
BSI:

#1 would just be "P" as opposed to the full PMD.
otherwise known as P-P in the formal sense.
speaking of which, i gotta go see a man about a horse.
...whatever the hell that means.
  3:09pm
PMD:

Is he a man like cardboard Andy, or does he just love cardboard men?
  3:10pm
PMD:

Irwin, that you are. But in a good way.
  3:10pm
BSI:

hey wow, didn't see the Husik coming.

amor de dias reminds me of juana molina.

Probably the only person here appreciating this late new order number.....
  3:27pm
Old New Order Fan:

"Regret" is the best song they've done since the "Technique" album. Thanks for playing it, Irwin.
  3:28pm
Eric:

I liked "Regret" quite a bit
  3:30pm
north guinea hills:

what eric and ONOF said.......
  3:32pm
Jan:

Hi Irwin: Hey the show was sounding great to my ears till New Order-
what kind of music is this- I guess this is the kind of sound that I referred to as country. So it's not country, but it's got those twangy guitars
and men singing in their upper registers. Maybe I go for the Barry Whites and Isaac Hayes- no Smokey and Marvin sang in upper registers. old Ceremony- there it is again- the same kind of sound.
Sorry, it's not for me. But surely, the sound will change soon. Your
playlist is always eclectic.
  3:32pm
cookieland:

yay. old ceremony
  3:33pm
Duke of Earl Grey:

I've always loved "Regret" too. Would've been a #1 hit on the same planet where so many FMU power pop faves would've been #1s.
  3:34pm
taht:

can't listen fully until after 5 :(
  3:35pm
Eric:

I love it that Jan referred to Regret (or any New Order song as country)! That's pretty awesome.

I like that... "we missed our goal by something more than a rounding error"
  3:43pm
jan:

Well, I'm not fully up on the nomenclature of the music genres in play today, and especially as I only listen to WFMU and not a country station.
Normally I don't get to comment on country radio. Irwin, I know that you follow your musical passions and that is why I follow you.
  3:51pm
Dr.Milligan:

Is there anything worn under the kilt?
No, it's all in perfect working order.
  3:53pm

Blues Project! I still listen to this now and again, and believe you me, I am not one for dwelling in the musical past of my adolescence. It's just that this music seems to have aged very well.

  4:22pm
jan:

Still sounds good, Irwin. I know that the comments directed at me
are amusing to the listeners and me. But I figure if I comment on the show, over time the show will evolve to just the kind of music that I like.
My assistant likes Amanda! I'm somewhat tired of her, but this Chaos cut is better than most.
