Live performance and conversation with David Poe |
||||||||||
Dropping his pure pop-folk stance, Poe drags his fans down a dark, smoky, jazz alley, in reality a very comforting space, on his current album, “Love is Red.” David claims to have set out making what he calls "the saddest record ever made." According to an article In The San Francisco Chronicle, when he’s not in his East Village attic scheming up new songs, Poe has been turning his organizational skills to starting “Live From the Artists' Den,” a revolutionary media company that will connect emerging musicians to new audiences via private concerts. David Poe dropped by WFMU to chat about his many musical lives and to play a few tunes. |
