5 minutes is enough time for a good song.

Most YouTube videos are longer than 5 minutes but probably shouldn't be.

A week is the time between programs on WFMU. Most programs, anyway.

Speaking of "visualizing" Time, you know those calendar things where they have the history of the planet Earth crammed into one year? There's a better way to do that.....
Avatar 9:46pm

Let one step represent 100 years.

You can shake hands with George Washington. Julius Caesar is across the street....(2 lanes traffic, 2 parking lanes)....

OK, let's take it further. Start in Times Square, and start walking west. You'll see Neanderthals when you reach the Hudson River.

Australopithecines, the earliest things one can call "human", are around Newark....

was the caller the dream about school. Sorry I sound so muffled. I wish she was calling to talk about the synesthesia that's way more fun this friend who told me about what it was smelled like triangles. I've heard where people get head injuries and have like Savant abilities tied to synesthesia but I forget what they were

The Philip Glass Review:
This performance of the Philip Glass ensemble accompanying the dazzling film Powaqqatsi was utterly brilliant. Accompanied by additional singers and percussion, the playing was extraordinary, thrilling and beautiful. For over 50 years, I have seen Mr. Glass live, doing solo shows at Plymouth Church, Citicenter, performing opera at the Met Opera (Einstein on the Beach, The Voyage, Akhnatan, Satyagraha) and at BAM with Lucinda Childs, Robert Wilson, the revival of Einstein and the latest Etudes, performed by 12 different pianists. And I was at Town Hall many years ago for a three night event of Einstein, Music in 12 parts and Music with Changing Parts. This latest event was a continuation of his brilliance and I will be seeing the third installment later in 2025.

starting your life over from a certain age but having all the knowledge and memories you have now; so you'd retain the memories you have... so, for example, if someone was a temporary part of your life and is gone you could direct your life otherwise and experience something else that you missed the first time without losing the experience you had with that person.
