That Elton set was terrific. I've gotten a new appreciation for pre-80s and non Singles Elton from Julie who does Dark Night of The Soul on WFMU. She plays 1 really old Elton track every show....

Ha… yea, my older brother is a Dylan fanatic, & he appreciated both Empire Burlesque & its follower Knocked out Loaded. I found it remarkable he went on such a strong run of great albums since Time Out Of Mind … whew 😅.
