It's funny how the cracks in the Peter Gordon cassette case are more obvious to me in the photo here than they are in "real life."

Hi, Tony. Plunderphonics and Negativland were badasses. I would not to be at the end of the legal bills however.

I’d always assumed a connection between the magazine and the venue in Toronto, The Music Gallery, because of their shared interests but pure speculation on my part.

Were you talking about Dolby as in Dolby noise reduction? This is very clean for a cassette
Avatar 1:30pm
Tony Coulter:

↳ wimpy @1:28
Yep, dolby noise reduction. This tape uses dolby B, and the dolby manages to reduce the hiss without deadening the sound, as usually happens.

Dolby Labs created DOLBY C, a consumer- available product that was supposed to be better than DOLBY B. I never bought a cassette machine that could decode that version. And you, Tony?

i have (and still regularly use) a Denon deck with dolby c capability

Hey Tony, I remember sending you an email around the middle of September about some songs that I needed help identifying that I thought you would know some, but I've never seen an email response back. I'm not sure if it got through to you or not, but could you please check and respond? It would mean a lot if you could help in any way. Thanks!
