With billows and blasts from choirs and orchesters
Buskers and talkers
Big bands and squawkers,
the Stork Club has retained its qualities of decaying elegance and dwindling significance since the late 1950s.

October 27, 2024: The Mike Cooper Chronicles, Episode 2
English-born world-wanderer Mike Cooper plays various real and virtual guitars, including lap steel guitar, and he sings; he is an improviser and composer, a song-maker, a visual and
installation artist; film and video maker, and radio arts producer. His long, adventurous musical journey began as a key member of the 60's British folk movement, and has traced a path across oceans, around this earth, this galaxy, and beyond.

One has a special appreciation of & admiration for Avant Artists who create their own palettes
...yet my own aptitudes are for, & what I've invested all my time in is being a Gittarhead rooted mostly in Rawk & Blues-based forms ...like about a billion you're likely to strike if you swing a dead cat...
MikeCooper obvsly & eminently illustrates being both & all of these @ once - ably, without contradiction & with complete success
...& if I cannot realistically aspire to this myself - it @ least makes the bifurcation in my head less total & schizophrenic...
