	11:48pm spodiodi: the thing with pinewood derbies was you could tell which kids' fathers built their cars. my stepfather and i never clicked (at all) so i was mostly on my own. one year i got all excited and wanted to make my version of Greased Lightning (from Grease)... had some curves that required tools my stepfather didn't have (nor know hoe to use). so we went to my maternal grandfather's house to use his tools and skill/experience. it didn't win, but i loved it (the paint was kind of underwhelming as well, but the curves came out nice, and i was happy to run it
