sounds wise. i fully support this. i spent the day in a dentist's chair type thing at the ms clinic, getting my infusion, 8am til 2pm, plus a 1 hour bus ride on the 22 Fillmore (with one exceptionally ripe person) before and after... and i didn't sleep a wink the night prior, so it felt kind of nice.

oh yeah, i exited the bus home, leaving my new WFMU hat to fall from my lap before i did... realizing that i'd left it only after the bus had pulled- far away to the next stop where other 22's queue up. - so i waited for a couple of traffic lights to change and ran with my can, after the bus the but in front of the one i was chasing pulled away, making me "run" even faster...
i'm laughing at how funny it looks when i'm forced to do that...

anyway-- happy ending. the driver eventually saw me in his mirrors running w cane (resisted waving it) and let me approach his (locked/secured door), acknowledged my presence and let me in - one final sprint (hah) to the back of the bus to retrieve the hat(mostly to look grateful via hustling), thanked the guy enthusiastically a couple of times and walked the last little bit home

long day tho. i'm angry at myself for typing here now. dead tired.

sorry-it's still Wednesday to me :-B

i was using licorice root to try to improve my singing voice, c.1989. i used the sticks; but they were out of the sticks and i bought cut & sifted for tea, and just chewed it. (good taste but overall not pleasant!)
...i got pulled over for a supposed tail light out and the shit heads threw me in jail. impounded my car.

I love all manner of slurs: racist, classist, sexist, ableist, you name it. I'm of the Don Rickles and Richard Pryor mode of egregious hate and filth.

But I get and take to heart the real ramifications of the culturally skewed values that allowed them to prevail. And so that "Karen" is so blithely leveled against mostly white women genuinely pisses me off.

But I do hope that at some point we'll recognize (again) that Rabelasian, filthy, angry, vicious language can be an opportunity for joy for all.

Along with Steve Jobs (and of course many others), I think he is largely responsible for messing up not just my pathetic life, but the lives of our children and so on.
