↳ Song: "civilization day" by "ornette coleman"
It was so funny, I was walking along, hands full of grocery bags, thinking: Oh this is good. Oh, that drummer, so good. And that bass player, Ron Carter? No, not quite his style, very good. And the horn players, such distinctive voices on their instruments. . .

Then it hit me, of course, Ornette and some variation of his classic quartet (only sometimes can I tell for sure Higgins or Blackwell). But a session I haven't listened to enough to recognize. Looked it up. The Science Fiction album. So funny, I didn't recognize Coleman and Co. right away. Great experience. Got to hear them with fresh ears. Open mind. Thank you! Speedo!
