The loop at the end is a clue that it was not accidental, whoever did it. The paste had to be equeezed out beginning at that doubled-back end, probably from directly above or close. Then the tube had to be moved. I'm thinking someone with a steady hand traced out that path.
Years of science research and consuming detective fiction.

And even if she set it up she might have wiped it up as soon as she got the shot. I certainly would have (especially knowing that you'll be watching now).

Even some insiders at WFMU don't know much about Gus. Gus is a mysterious friend of Irwin. I know literally nothing else about him.
Irwin is the longest-running DJ at WFMU, having been there since 1975, and I get the impression that he used to do more offbeat comedy bits and voices. (You can still hear him meow occasionally -- he's great at cat noises.) Irwin is clearly not Gus, but (warning: pure speculation follows) I wonder if Gus started out as a concept "voice" developed by Irwin, and then he decided it was too rough on his geezer* larynx (or too obvious) and the character sort of got spun off.

Whereas "downcycling" implies recycling into materials of lesser perceived value. I say, what's with this bias and judgment?? Anything is valuable, when it goes into my belly.

I heard you can buy ugly food that is cosmetically not sellable, but perfectly fine to eat. Maybe THAT is upcycling?

wear it out
make it do
or do without”
Used to be the New England philosophy, and especially during the Depression and WWII. After the War - out the window, especially by the time "planned obsolescence" became the way.
"Today we call that “repurposing” or “upcycling.” " says the FDR Presidential Library & Museum. Wait a minute...this goes all the way to the Top!!!

Anyway, long ago I noticed that a barista on whom I had a bit of a crush drove around in a car with a license plate frame that reads, "I'd Sell My Soul For Billy Joel." I figured he can't be all bad.

I don't listen to most of the Top charts music, but someone once pointed out that the kidz nowadays love dancing to that music; whereas those like me who like to sit and listen to music, don't find it appealing at all. It could be a personality/style type that determines the kind of music you prefer to listen to.

Swifty's another...seems like a fairly decent person, but not atr all good musically; and kind of a crappy "role model" for young girls.
