An underground journey through the history of psychedelic rock, modern music, shimmering noise, free jazz, punk, funk, children's records played at the wrong speed, tape cut-up, static, the composition of decomposition, and subversive spoken word.

Hi 👋 Hiya - novelty to have you on in “prime time” (whatever that means).
- I’m a film & music geek person 🤓 & am very stoked that you mentioned SORCERER 1977 awhile ago, which wasn’t even on my radar = “& then I saw the very worthwhile “Friedkin Uncut” career documentary and now am so primed to watch it and revel in its “under appreciated masterpiece” status. I’m one of those guys that loves bold failed great attempt movies like “The Last Movie” , “Roar”, “The Stunt Man” & especially “inferno” (1964/2009 unfinished film by Henri George Cluzot) available as an amazing semi-docu restoration by Serge Bromberg via Lobster? 🦞 (features a great lost performance of Romy Schneider’s unusual career!)
Avatar 7:40pm
Jherweg:

Glad to be here I don’t often get the chance to broadcast with the sun still up!
Avatar 7:42pm
Jherweg:

I get obsessed with movies that I think are masterpieces but the public snoozed on, to me it makes them extra special. Like you you get to see something beautiful not everyone else could see .

this music! i am intrigued -- going to watch on youtube, but has "The Damned Don't Cry" ever been released in the States, screened in theaters?

i'll bet there were no rapists or pedophiles in tonight's presentation of artists. micah would be displeased.

ultradamno:

An X special? Damn, I will have to be catching up with Joey D's show on the archives
  7:54pm
Erik/VT:

@jherweg: yes indeed. Oh btw : I’m sure you are already aware, that inferno 1964 Cluzot guy is the same that made the classic “Wages of Fear” abt 10 years prior.
“Inferno” (semi docu restoration) is a curious beauty.
