They had some videos of this group there, which were the part of the show I enjoyed most, but you can only spend so much time standing with headphones on in one spot staring at a screen on a wall. One tape from Graves's basement unfortunately had inaudible bass. I guess now's my chance?

The critical judgement and reasoning of both Bangs / Kael was questionable but their writing was always vivid. Both of them might have been better off (if less famous) as novelists rather than critics.

One tape from Graves's basement unfortunately had inaudible bass. I guess now's my chance?
