The Radio Is Broken is a three-hour spelunk through the canyons and fissures of humanity's collective unconscious. It sounds as if a field recording of the Culture Industry were a sonic juggernaut barreling down a rickety track—except that tunnel ahead is just painted onto a sheer cliff wall. With occasional forays into what might pass for "normal" music. Prerequisite journey: Cratedigger's Lung

He's a total genius. When I was living in NYC, I had an Italian roommate and it was the year Morricone was lauded at the Oscars. MoMA (or was it Film Forum?) was showing a series of films he scored. Yeah! I wish I could get it on my TV rather than a computer screen. It's fantastic though.

Indeed! Somehow Dartmouth was able to get a sneek peek screening of it - for FREE (abt 2 weeks prior to its so called “wider release”). Which im not sure ever really happened. Simultaneously released television streaming services are literally destroying the booking incentives for our Arthouse cinemas!
