I have a fond memory of an Oneida show: they played Sheets of Easter and Bobby's keyboard stand started going lower and lower, with Bobby going down with it without ever breaking, even when a stage guy came to lift and tighten it

Pompton lakes NJ still there. Documentary showing at Monty Hall next week I think. I was gonna be in it but it didn't happen. Rev. Dan who owns it used to give me records. Tracy who worked there used to bring me to shows at Maxwell's. Great place.

Mary Ellen has long wanted to visit Germany. German is one of my languages ever since highschool, though I have to knock off the rust. The visit got put off for years owing to Rona and heavy workloads.

Today seems doable. Let me check with Mary Ellen after she's awake. I'll get back to you by text. After Shelley would be 1pm CT.

Brian, you mentioned Chomsky earlier. Noam lives. Ha! Plenty of liberals, conservatives, Zionists, fascists, even some stale leftists, may be less than happy the elder, card-carrying I.W.W., anarcho-syndicalist is still living. Here's Jeffrey St. Clair from his 6.21.24 column "Roaming Charges" in Counterpunch:
" ... the welcome news that Chomsky lives has somehow spread much slower than the lie that he had died, which reconfirms pretty much everything Noam’s written about the nature of the mass media, even the insidious way it infects those who’ve read and (in theory) absorbed the meaning of his work."
