Met a guy in a WFMU shirt at a show in Philly this weekend. He asked me what my favorite show was and enjoyed that I told him that I pretty much never turn it off -- but he also mentioned Fabio as a particular favorite, and we agreed there!

2 people told me today, so far, they liked my Bryce blender shirt. one because he once had a blender that looked this this one; the other just liked it. i asked her if she liked it because she listens to wfmu? she said no she just likes it but what's a blender got to do with a radio station? i told her it's a story she said please tell it, so i did and she said it's a great story!

Saw the Necks once in Chicago. Great live, better than their recordings (which I am not really crazy about!)

This set would be a good ride at the county fair. Pay some bucks to sit down in a quiet room and let the drone do its good work.

on any given touristy day here a few people will tell me they like my fmu shirt, or like wfmu. i used to always ask what shows they like and the answer is usually "wake". (it used to almost always be Hearty White, and years ago it was often tom sharpling)
now i make judgements and don't even ask if they look like "wake" would be their favorite (or only, in many cases) show.

This is just so good. I have one HF album, but it seems like I should delve.
