That laugh is from a novelty item called Bag of Laughs, a small sack with a device inside and a button that made it play. I had one in about 1970.

More to the point - did Pink Floyd borrow the tape loop intro to "Money" from the theme song to the British TV show "Are You Being Served"?

Bruford has retired from performing, but he worked his way to a Ph.D., and I think he might be practicing something or other related to his studies.

Insofar as Bruford snare drum. A band I was in back in the day. Drummer showed up late for rehearsal - AGAIN. Set up his 90-drum kit. Kept messing with the snare drum, even tho we told him he dialed in Bruford's snare sound. Finally, he laid out lines on the snare drum. Snorted them up, hit every drum as hard as he could for 30 seconds, and goes, "I'm ready."
