hey Greg!

how great would it have been if in "Halloween" he took off his mask and it was actually William Shatner

I did a whole fill-in show recently of Beach Boy sound-alikes. One hour, but I could have played at least 2-3 more hours.

Hello, Greg. I saw Todd at the Fillmore in 1995. The band had a blender on stage, and Todd said they were making hamster smoothies. I hoped it was a joke.

↳ Song: "Goose Step Mama" by "The Rutles"
The Rutles had a really good track ( it was all great parody) that could have been on a Beatles album ( imo ) called “ Let’s be natural.”

Lucky. I've never been able to see him live, although he played in a high school gym across form my apartment in the 1990s. I could hear it pretty well.

Just a few years ago, my wife heard "Runaway Train" by Soul Asylum on the radio, and said: 'oh cool, I like Tom Petty'. I had to break the news to her.

I just discovered Rhodes a couple of years ago. So great. I don't think he consciously tried to copy the Beatles, but he did and did it beautifully. And yes, incredible musician.

It's boggling to me that he basically played all the instruments, sang all the vocals, and somehow, by some magic, channeled the the McCartney-Lennon mind meld.
