LIVE from Los Angeles: Julia Holter lives in a world of Art Pop and Ambient sound. She's with us tonight to discuss how she builds her work and then translates it to the stage. Then we'll take a look at two outstanding and unconventional theatrical works. Magician Helder Guimaraes tells his incredible immigrant/Hollywood story in this incredibly moving & mind blowing work THE HOPE THEORY at The Geffen Playhouse in Westwood. At the International City Theatre in Long Beach they are presenting WHAT THE CONSTITUTION MEANS TO ME, a piece that discusses and challenges the importance of the constitution through the eyes of a young woman. Finally we wrap up with two plays. HITLER'S TASTERS that imagines the young women who indeed tasted Hitlers food for poison in an extremely intimate and contemporary setting at The Matrix Theatre in West Hollywood. Costa Mesa's South Coast Rep brings us GALILEE, 34 a piece that takes a look at Jesus's disciples in the days following his death as they struggle with how exactly they are going to keep sharing his message.
