Poor Tich. He was probably like, why am I last?!

Probably the drummer.

↳ Song: "Dire Wolf" by "The Grateful Dead"
My older brother was a fan of the Dead and I got to hear a lot as a little kid, but I never walked down that path, so to speak. I do like this song though.

Well, this is historic - I do believe this is the first time in Sheena's 5+ years that someone has crossed the Dead barricade.

IMO there's only two Dead albums worth listening to

I didn't know until now that Dave Dee was not his name. It's David Harman. :D

Seems Tich passed away a couple of months ago.

As to the name: We changed their name to Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich, because they were their actual nicknames and because we wanted to stress their very distinct personalities in a climate which regarded bands as collectives".[3] Amey said: "Our name was given to us by our management at the time. Even all the DJs at the time had trouble saying it too including Kenny Everett who would stumble pronouncing it on purpose. I guess it helped us at the time".[1] According to Beaky, Amey got the nickname "Tich" as he was significantly smaller amongst his peers growing up.

Play attention and you'll hear a great Ramones reference in this song

My hometown of Port Chester, NY has a fairly famous venue called The Capitol Theater and most bands that played the Fillmore East also played at The Capitol including Hendrix, Joplin, etc. The Dead played there many times and interweb searches bring up lots of bootleg tapes of Capitol performances.

The Capitol re-opened about ten years ago and they feature regular shows by Phil Lesh and Dead cover bands. They even have a small cafe in the building called Garcia's. Whenever I walked by the place on my way home from visiting my family, I'd smell weed and patchouli.

Different group. Smokey was kind of the house band at Rodney's English Disco. Randy Rhodes play guitar for them for a bit as a teenager!
