Is this the Roosevelt Hotel? What's all those Standard Oil men running away? LARRY is the KINGFISH! Every man a KING!

Hey Clark!
  🥁 2:56pm
WLSClark:

Larry, before a jerk entered my pic in 2016, politics was very small. In 1972, I found the Kingfish's story and movie quite interesting. Today, the fake Kingfish scares me to death because he is NOT anything like the Kingfish, but pretends to be.
Randy has gone from politics in those days to fun happy songs more often today. I guess I am happy--FOR HIM! haha

My girlfriend was there when the little dog weaddled his way down a country road in a small town Iowa and Norman Lear came knocking on her aunt's door and she answered it. They were making "Cold Turkey" and Randy's "He Give Us All His Love" was the theme for the little dog and the movie.

Missed Ella, caught Sheldon (the jazz representation), don't think Sheldon's a great singer, but I like the way he sings.

Henry the bald, mouthless kid with a jaw that looked like an ass? Few remember him.

Have you ever seen the SCTV sketch, where someone made Henry into a live action movie?

I don't remember! There's SCTV material online that I haven't seen in over 40 years. Some of it hasn't been televised since its pre-NBC days and was never collected on home video!

His acting resume is huge. My first impression of him was as King Blues in the Fillmore Auditorium tribute comedy "Get Crazy".
