@ brian: i think the day's schedule that is posted is incorrect, aren't shows preempted for fmu holiday party?

I said he would only be worth hiring if there was stuff to do worth his while (which was true, he's a diva). The guy asked me for a book rec and I said Infinite Jest. He didn't make it through the first pages then came back with testimony from Italian professors of literature saying it was abuse and threatened to report me to HR.
I'm proud of this moment

As for the migrants outside Roosevelt hotel photo, we have a food scraps stand at Tompkins gmkt on Sunday. Just half a block away the migrants line up. I think for housing, or HOPE for housing. This is St Brigid School. Sad. My coworker helps them by giving out clothes

Yes, I've seen the line outside St. Brigid's. Very upsetting.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:39am
Handy Haversack:

↳ herb.nyc @8:37
I think there's no housing at St. Brigid, but they're forced to line up there in order to reapply for beds and so end up sleeping outside the place sometimes or lose their place on line.

“That’s me in the corner”🎶 will always make me laugh, for the Mekons slipped into a few lines of song when they played Central Park summerstage. I’ve a foto somewhere, at the original site, the bandshell July 4 weekend, and people are wearing flag hats! Crazy!

i can't remember how it came up but the response chop suey, to something about a.i. seemed appropriate because if chop suey didn't alreadty exist it seems like a.i. would make it up

I’m a painfully shy person too. But when I work at the gmkt I change persona. I see myself as being on the stage, and i need entertain and be charming. I adjuncted for 3 semesters, and used that same reasoning
