One of my favorite literary passages:

β€œI had hated these ponies for the part they played in my father's death but now I realized the notion was fanciful, that it was wrong to charge blame to these pretty beasts who knew neither good nor evil but only innocence. I say that of these ponies. I have known some horses and a good many more pigs who I believe harbored evil intent in their hearts. I will go further and say all cats are wicked, though often useful. Who has not seen Satan in their sly faces? Some preachers will say, well, that is superstitious "claptrap." My answer is this: Preacher, go to your Bible and read Luke 8: 26-33”

Or perhaps November from '78.

Kitten Sparkles:

Maybe so, Dean. This seems like later Screamers to me, so that’s quite possible.

First saw them on July 4th, 1977 at the Starwood.

Their first public show. They played a Slash mad party at X’s house before that.

This identifies two earlier appearances:

Screamers were a spectacle, for sure, but the sum was better than the parts when they joined The Weirdos, Germs, The Eyes...

According to that article up yonder, they stopped playing "Eva Braun" by the time of the '79 visit to NYC.

nice time travel trip Don
I used to tape those Hep Cats From Hell shows because I would eventually fall asleep. My form of DVR for 1979. Some, like this one, were worth keeping. Nice to hear it again.

Late to the party but just barely in time to write a Happy Happy Merry Merry to all assembled. Thank you Kitten Sparkles for a year of sounds found and made.
