yep, i just waiting for my security clearance to go through so I can start. it's killing me as i only have a finite amount of money, and I don't know how long I have to stretch it. I am coming up to nyc oct 3-10 to reacclimate myself to the City (then coming back to orlando) and figure out how I'm going to live up there once I get a work start date... thanks for asking!

On a major Floyd retrospective at the moment and digging in to their past catalogue with the focus on Richard Wright. His input was monumental until a "Animals" and beyond. Been listening to 'Wet Dream', what a great album. 'Atom Heart Mother' has so much to say about Mr Wright

They started promptly, us getting there a bit late (430ish) meant I only got to hear about half of Los Lobos set. It didn't start to rain until just before Willie's set. And while it definitely rained, it was off and on and we didn't get drenched.

Bob Weir was interesting, have not been following him so it was surprise to me he has horns, cello and violin, upright bass, with the not unexpected pedal steel guitar. Made for some interesting music flows when they were doing that Dead jam thing.

Willie Nelson was outstanding and the sound was unexpectedly excellent so I started recording with my phone and came out ok. Norah Jones was on piano and backing vocal.

Willie finished at about 9:45PM.
