I reverse engineered some info to get to that stage, because maybe 5-6 years ago I heard a cover of one of the songs from that Frida album, a reggae-esque tune. Sure enough, Collins did a very passable production of a reggae rhythm with some skilled studio musicians and Frida sang a song called "I See Red" on it. All the songs on her album were covers, I believe. The big hit was a tune called "Something Going On".

If I'd paid for the expression, I'd want my money back. Same thing for "You giving me the high hat?!" from same film. The phrases don't seem so mysterious, inscrutable or confusing to me. What's with that?

To this day, some 40 years later, I still anticipate the ‘ka-CHUNK’ of it switching tracks in the middle of Kometenmelody, the title track, etc.

I reverse engineered some info to get to that stage, because maybe 5-6 years ago I heard a cover of one of the songs from that Frida album, a reggae-esque tune. Sure enough, Collins did a very passable production of a reggae rhythm with some skilled studio musicians and Frida sang a song called "I See Red" on it. All the songs on her album were covers, I believe. The big hit was a tune called "Something Going On".

If I'd paid for the expression, I'd want my money back. Same thing for "You giving me the high hat?!" from same film. The phrases don't seem so mysterious, inscrutable or confusing to me. What's with that?
