Sem:

"Michael Yonkers (born 1947) is an American rock musician from Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. His work has been praised for its groundbreaking and highly experimental nature; Cole Alexander of psychedelic-rock band Black Lips said that Yonkers “kind of invented noise and drone guitar techniques," stating further that "when you think of how The Who, Jimi Hendrix and The Velvet Underground were pushing feedback at the time, he was more extreme than all three combined in terms of what he was doing.”[1] However, his work did not reach a wide audience until decades after he began recording, due in part to a debilitating spinal injury that kept him in constant, lifelong pain.[2]

His most well-known work is a psychedelic rock record from 1968 called Microminiature Love, which was released on vinyl by De Stijl Records in 2002, and later Sub Pop, who released it on CD in July 2003" via the wikithingy.

Definitely, the only R&L record that hasn't grabbed me is Shoot Out the Lights. It's been a while since I've listened to it so I'm about due. It'll kick my ass one of these days.

Those Fairport records are top notch. I bet the remasters sound good.

Well ok. ‘Shoot Out’ had moved them into modern times Re production and all that. But it’s an absolute gem and the raw sound & product of a deteriorating interpersonal situation. Imo, it’s a must.

I see there are several of these AE Bizottsag and related albums. Is it cost effective to explore these related albums - they payback audio benefits.

Well, one is a comp, released in the Netherlands, so maybe the easiest to get: www.discogs.com... They're all great, imo.

just awoke. looks like i missed a program of ~35% familiar material. this is unusual and i think i'd really like to to hear stuff i know (but haven't heard in a while) mixed with the unfamiliar, for a change.
tgfa. Thank god for archives.

Looking back at the song list, I think the percent of familiar material was in the 1-5% range. Familiar bands a bit higher...

Couldn't get to the live show til 2:56. Thank goodness for the archive. One of the greatest shows of all time! "Rock & Roll Killed my Mother." The Alphabetical Four. So much absolutely fantastic stuff. Thanks, Tony!
